Just a point of clarification: the final exam will cover Chapters 1-6 (i. e. everything), and you should use the review sheet for the mid-term in addition to the bonus homework assignment to prepare you for the final exam. Also, as one of you noticed, the 14th is a Sunday, so I have decided to move the due date to Monday, 15 December. I will upload the solutions to the bonus sheet on Monday so that you can use it for your preparation.

2014.12.04
I have uploaded a bonus homework assignment, sheet 12. It also doubles as a review sheet for the second half of the lecture, meaning all problems are immediately relevant for the final exam. You have until 15 December to hand in your answer for bonus points (just drop them off in my mailbox). After the 14th, I will upload the solutions so you can use them for your preparation of the final exam. You need not finish all problems, and anything you submit will count in your favor.

In case some of you want to come in for a therapy session, just send me an email.

Just as a reminder: the space-time coordinates of the final exam are 18 December 2014 in EX 320 from 9 to 12. Please bring a photo id.

Old news

2014.10.03
I have organized a new new room for the new Tuesday time slot: SS 1078, 16-17. It is right next to the old new room SS 1080. That means from now on, we will have two lectures (Fridays, 15-17, at the usual place), the next one will be on Tuesday, 30 September.

I have organized a room for the new Tuesday time slot: SS 1080, 16-17. That means from now on, we will have two lectures (Fridays, 15-17, at the usual place), the next one will be on Tuesday, 30 September.

2014.09.19
The results are in, and in addition to a 2-hour lecture on Fridays (MP134, 15-17) I will try to organize a room for Tuesdays, 16-17. Office hours are, as usual, directly after the lecture. Howerver, until I have found a room, everything will stay as it is. In case you have any questions, please send me a mail.

2014.09.12
I will try to split the lecture into a 2-hour session (Fridays, MP134, 15-17) and a 1-hour session. To find a good time which works for everyone, please pick your preferred day/time combinations in this Doodle list. I will keep it open until next week. Up until I have been able to organize a new room, I will stick to the three-hour lecture, though.

2014.10.13
I have received the date, time and location for the final exam (see also Final section below): it is scheduled for 18 December 2014 in EX 320 from 9 to 12.
